Yuuri is abused

Emotional/psychological child abuse only (nothing physical or sexual), and the impacts it has on him. Feel free not to make it his family, who seem lovely. Could go that route(what people are vs what people think they are, because statistically, most people know at least one abuser and think they are an amazing person), or make it an adult close to him, your choice.

+1 if it is where the anxiety comes from.

I just really want something that addresses the effects of emotional child abuse, which is 99% of the time overshadowed by other forms in fic, and rly in real life.
